Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council
Needs Assessment
Solicitation for Public Comment 

Notice is hereby given that the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council (LRGVDC) is seeking input on the development of a Needs Assessment in coordination with receiving Community Development Block Grant Supplemental Disaster Recovery Funds. This amount includes $4,658,847 for non-housing and $122,034,387 for housing assistance. LRGVDC has established a two part process for development of the Needs Assessment. Initially, the LRGVDC will hold an initial public hearing on the Needs Assessment process to receive public comment on the data used to develop the plan. The LRGVDC with the help of its Housing Advisory Committee will conduct a series of planning meetings to complete the Needs Assessment. A Final public meeting will be scheduled to receive input on the completed Needs Assessment and application to be submitted to the General Land Office (GLO). Written and oral comments regarding the Needs Assessment will be taken at public hearings scheduled for the following dates, times and locations:
