The auction will be held at the Alton Industrial Warehouse located at 416 South Alton Blvd, Alton, Texas on September 23, 2011 at 11:00 am. Payment shall be made cash or cashier’s check only. The City of Alton reserves the right to accept the best and most advantageous offer. Vehicles are sold as is, no warranty and no returns.

Shary Road, Mission, Texas, hereby gives notice to former special education students of Sharyland  I.S.D. that it no longer needs the following special education records and intends to destroy them on October 2011: Special education records of all former students served during the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 school year.

Small Taxing Unit Notice

The City of Penitas will hold a meeting at 06:00 PM on September 20, 2011 at Penitas Public Library, 1111 S. Main St, Penitas, TX 78576 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2011. The proposed tax rate is 0.3625 per $100 of value.

The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in City of Penitas by 7.98%.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss La Joya Independent School District's rating on the state's Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
