The City of Alton will hold a public hearing on the 23rd day of August 2011, at 4:00 p.m., at Alton City Hall Commission Chambers located at 509 S Alton Blvd., Alton, Texas. The purpose of the public hearing is for the general public to be present and participate in the Hearing relating to the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 City of Alton Budget. A copy of the proposed budget may be viewed at the Office of the City Secretary. The Mission City Council will hold a regular meeting on August 22, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 East 8th Street, Mission, Texas in order to consider the following:

Rezoning: Lot 1, Oleander Estates UT A, from (R-1) Single Family Residential to (C-3) General Business.
