PUBLIC NOTICE

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a regular meeting on February 9, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 East 8th Street, Mission, Texas in order to consider the following:

Rezoning: A 20’x150’ ac. of abandoned Canal ROW lying West & Adjacent to Lot 1, Sharyland Orchards, from (AO-I) Agricultural Open Interim to (R-1A) Large Lot Single Family.

If a zoning is amended during the public hearing, it shall be pursuant to the City of Mission’s Amendatory Zone Policy Statement. Anyone interested is invited to attend. Anna Carrillo, City Secretary

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE AND AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS/NOTIFICACION DE AUDENCIA PUBLICA PARA FONDOS DISPONIBLES

The City of Mission will conduct public hearings to solicit comments from interested residents and agencies for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City is expecting to receive notification of the proposed fiscal year 2011 CDBG allocation, which is anticipated to be $914,217. Comments received will be considered for preparation of the City of Mission’s Action Plan FY 2011/2012. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and make their views known. These funds can be utilized for activities benefiting low/moderate income and/or persons. We are also accepting funding request forms for CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2011 (October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012). Applications can be picked up at the address listed below or download from website, www.missiontexas.us. The applications are due in our office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2011.

La Ciudad de Mission estara conduciendo una junta de audencia publica para solicitar commentarios de residentes y agencias interesados en el programa de Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

La Ciudad espera recibir la notificacion del propuesto $914,217 para el ano fiscal 2011 CDBG.
