ORDINANCE NO. 3641

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS ESTABLISHING NO PARKING SIGNS: NO VEHICLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE OF THE ROAD BETWEEN THE 4300 AND 4500 BLOCK OF SOUTH GLASSCOCK ROAD (ADJACENT TO B.L. GRAY JR. HIGH SCHOOL) BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30 AM TO 8:30 AM AND 3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM ON THE DAYS THE SHARYLAND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT IS IN SESSION; PROVIDING FOR INSTALLATION OF SAID NO PARKING SIGNS AND PROPER SIGNAGE THEREOF AND MAKING PROVISIONS OF THE STATE TRANSPORTATION CODE AND TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSION IN REGARD TO PENALTY FOR VIOLATION APPLICABLE THERETO:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS THAT:

SECTION 1: No vehicle shall park on the east and west side of the road between the 4300 and 4500 block of South Glasscock Road between the hours of 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on the days the Sharyland Independent School District is in session.

SECTION 2: The proper devices shall be installed in accordance with the standards adopted by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

SECTION 3: The provisions of the State Transportation Code and the Traffic Ordinances of the City of Mission shall be applicable in regard to penalties for violation of said traffic control devices and signs.

SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective when said signage is installed and when it has been published as prescribed by law.

ORDINANCE NO. 3640

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL AS FOLLOWS: THAT NO VEHICLE MAY PROCEED AT A SPEED IN EXCESS OF THIRTY (30) MILES PER HOUR ALONG SOUTH GLASSCOCK ROAD BETWEEN MILITARY ROAD AND LOS MILAGROS. PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SAID TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES AND PROPER SIGNAGE THEREOF AND MAKING PROVISIONS OF THE STATE TRANSPORTATION CODE AND TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSION IN REGARD TO PENALTY FOR VIOLATION APPLICABLE THERETO:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS THAT:

a. Thirty (30) miles per hour while traveling north or south on South Glasscock Road between Military Road and Los Milagros.

SECTION 2: The proper devices shall be installed in accordance with the standards adopted by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

SECTION 3: The provisions of the State Transportation Code and the Traffic Ordinances of the City of Mission shall be applicable in regard to penalties for violation of said traffic control devices and signs.
