PUBLIC NOTICE

The Mission City Council will hold a regular meeting on March 28, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 East 8th Street, Mission, Texas in order to consider the following:

Rezoning: Lots 3-6, Condy Place Subdivision from (C-1) Office Building to (C-3) General Business; Rezoning: A tract of land out of the north 206.28’ of Lot 31, Sharyland Orchards Subdivision from (R-4) Mobile & Modular Home to (R-1A) Large Lot Single Family.

If a zoning is amended during the public hearing, it shall be pursuant to the City of Mission’s Amendatory Zone Policy Statement. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS

Sharyland Independent School District is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposal No. 1011-10R Sharyland ISD Support Services Facility Parking Lot Improvements located in Mission, Texas at 1243 US Business Highway 83, Mission, TX 78572. The School District has selected M Garcia Engineering, LLC - 400 Nolana, Ste. D, McAllen, Texas 78504, [Phone (256) 687-9421 - Fax (956) 687-3211] to advertise, commencing on Friday, the 25th day of March, 2011. All prospective bidders will be required to deposit a certified or cashier’s check payable to the M Garcia Engineering, LLC in the amount of $150.00, as a guarantee of the safe return of the construction documents made part of the request for proposals. The sum will be refunded if the return of the complete set of construction documents is within ten (10) days after the deadline or submission of proposals.
