ORDINANCE NO. 3639

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR A TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE BEING A FOUR-WAY STOP SIGN INTERSECTION AT HIGHLAND PARK DRIVE AND COUNTRY CLUB DR.; PROVIDING FOR INSTALLATION OF SAID TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES BEING STOP SIGNS AND PROPER SIGNAGE THEREOF AND MAKING PROVISIONS OF THE STATE TRANS-PORTATION CODE AND TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSION IN REGARD TO PENALTY FOR VIOLATION APPLICABLE THERETO:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS THAT:

SECTION 1: All vehicles traveling west on Country Club Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Country Club Drive and Highland Park Drive.

SECTION 2: All vehicles traveling east on Country Club Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Country Club Drive and Highland Park Drive.

SECTION 3: All vehicles traveling south on Highland Park Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Highland Park Drive and Country Club Drive.

SECTION 4: All vehicles traveling north on Highland Park Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Highland Park Drive and Country Club Drive.

SECTION 5: The proper devices shall be installed in accordance with the standards adopted by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

SECTION 6: The provisions of the State Transportation Code and the Traffic ordinances of the City of Mission shall be applicable in regard to penalties for violation of said traffic control devices and signs.

SECTION 7: This ordinance shall become effective when said signage is installed and when it has been published as prescribed by law.

READ, CONSIDERED AND APPROVED on this 25th day of April, 2011.

CITY OF MISSION

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT

ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM

PROPOSED ACTION PLAN 2011-2012 (DRAFT)

In compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program rules and regulations, the City of Mission hereby announces its proposed Action Plan 2011-2012 for its Twenty-Eighth Year Entitlement Program. On May 3, 2011 the Citizens Advisory Committee made funding recommendations for the Action Plan 2011-2012 utilizing the city’s estimated 2011 CDBG allocation of $765,469.

City Council will be having a public hearing as follows:

Date: May 9, 2011

Place: Mission City Hall Council Chambers

Time: 4:30 p.m.

The Proposed Action Plan 2011-2012 is being provided for public comments. Oral and/or written comments will be accepted through June 6, 2011.

Accommodations for persons with disabilities, non-English speaking or handicapped individuals shall be provided upon request. Please notify the department at least three days in advance of meeting.
