February 25, 2011 - Sharyland ISD Notice

REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS

Sharyland Independent School District is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposal No. 1011-10 Sharyland ISD Support Services Facility Parking Lot Improvements located in Mission, Texas at 1243 US Business Highway 83, Mission, TX 78572. The School District has selected M Garcia Engineering, LLC - 400 Nolana, Ste. D, McAllen, Texas 78504, (Phone (256) 687-9421 - Fax (956) 687-3211) to advertise, commencing on Friday, the 25th day of February, 2011. All prospective bidders will be required to deposit a certified or cashier’s check payable to the m Garcia Engineering, LLC in the amount of $150.00, as a guarantee of the safe return of the construction documents made part of the request for proposals. The sum will be refunded if the return of the complete set of construction documents is within ten (10) days after the deadline or submission of proposals.

All competitive proposals must be submitted to the Sharyland Independent School District, ATTN; Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finances, Jesse Muniz, 1106 N. Shary Rd., Mission, Texas 78572 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 09, 2011.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Thursday, March 03, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. in the Sharyland ISD Board Room, 1106 N. Shary Rd., Mission, Texas 78572. All prospective bidders are encouraged to be in attendance.

February 25, 2011 - City of Mission Public Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Mission City Council will hold a regular meeting on March 14, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 East 8th Street, Mission, Texas in order to consider the following:

Rezoning: A 5 acre tract being the South 163.5’ x 1332.5’ out of Lot 26-1, West Addition to Sharyland, from (R-1) Single Family Residential to (R-2) Duplex-Fourplex Residential.

If a zoning is amended during the public hearing, it shall be pursuant to the City of Mission’s Amendatory Zone Policy Statement. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
