January 7, 2011 - City of Mission ORDINANCE 3615

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780 DESIGNATING PLACES WHERE BEER AND OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MISSION TO INCLUDE THE PREMISES LOCATED AT 2009 W. 3 MILE LINE ROAD, SUITE 200.

WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 780, passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Mission on October 7, 1974 designates certain places where beer and other alcoholic beverages may be sold within the corporate limits of the city; and

WHEREAS, a request has been submitted for the designation of a “wet area,” for the property located at:

2009 W. 3 MILE LINE ROAD, SUITE 200

EL LIDER SUPERMERCADO & MEAT MARKET, LLC

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FO THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS, THAT:

1. The Property located at 209 W. 3 Mile Road, Suite 200, El Lider Supermercado & Meat Market, LLC is designated as “wet area”

2. Said property located at 2009 W. 3 Mile Line Road, Suite 200, El Lider Supermercado & Meat Market, LLC shall be included in the designated areas where alcoholic beverages may be sold within the city.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS APPROVING THE MISSION ECONOMIC DEVELOP-MENT CORPORATION RESOLU-TION 2010-04; AUTHORIZING THE REFUNDING OF CERTAIN OBLI-GATIONS OF THE CITY OF MISSION ECONOMIC DEVELOP-MENT CORPORATION; AUTHOR-IZING THE REFUNDING OF CERTAIN OBLIGATIONS AND APPROVING OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.

WHEREAS, the Mission Economic Development Corporation (the “Corporation”) has approved a resolution authorizing the refunding of certain outstanding obligations of the Corporation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS.

That Resolution #2010-04 adopted by the Mission Economic Development Corporation authorizing the issuance of the refunding bonds is hereby in all things approved and ratified.

PASSED AND APPROVED on December 23, 2010.

January 7, 2011 - Mission Housing Authority Public Hearing

The Housing Authority of the City of Mission, Texas

And Coto De Casa, Inc.

Announce a Public Hearing

January 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mission Housing Authority Administrative Offices in Mission, Texas. The purpose of the hearing is 1) obtain input from the city residents in reference to Capital Fund Program annual submission to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for Fiscal Year 2011.

Total funds being allocated for FY 2011 are estimated at $336,000 and 2) To discuss and inform the community about the First Time Homebuyers Program goals, objectives, design, setting, development and management proposed activities of the Corporation and address the needs of the community that Coto de Casa may be empowered to undertake.

All residents are encouraged to attend this hearing. All documents related to this public hearing at the address below. Persons can also submit written comments prior to the public hearing.
