NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING TO DISCUSS LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT’S TAXATION OF GOODS-IN-TRANSIT
LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M., December 7, 2011 in the Central Administration - Board Room, 201 East Expressway 83, La Joya, Texas.
The purpose of this hearing is to discuss and receive feed back on La Joya Independent School District’s exemption from taxation of the appraised value of any portion of a person’s property that consists of goods-in-transit
