The Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council (LRGVDC) is advertising for the following position:
(Metropolitan Medical Response System)
Base Salary Range – $28,000 - $38,000 Annually
($2,333 - $3,166 Monthly)
DUTIES: Provide Staff Support to program director or groups as may be assigned. Prepare the appropriate reports, documentation, and plans. Maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations, assistance programs, and financing methods in variety of subject areas related to department programs through application of new procedures and guidelines. Attend and plan workshops, seminars, agency organizational meeting, and training workshops. This position will require knowledge and competencies in the medical, healthcare and emergency management profession.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate, or its equivalent, plus at least four (4) years of office work experience or any equivalent combination of experience and education. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication skills, good office skills and working knowledge of office equipment. Must have knowledge of the latest computer systems and software (Microsoft Office 2003 & 2007, Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook), prioritization skills, planning, organizing and carrying out MULTIPLE task and projects, and be able to adapt to a fast paced working environment.
