ORDINANCE NO. 3709
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS AS IT AFFECTS LOTS 6-10, 7-10, 8-10, 9-10, 10-10, 11-10, 12-10, 6-11, 7-11, 8-11, 9-11-10-11, 11-11, 12-11, 6-12, 7-12, 8-12, 9-12, WEST ADDITION TO SHARYLAND SUBDIVISION; AND LOTS 61, 71, AND 81, JOHN H. SHARY SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, The City of Mission, Texas has a Future Land Us eMap designating the desired use of properties; and,
WHEREAS, The Future Land Use Map, as with any other comprehensive plan, must occasionally be reviewed and revised due to ever changing conditions; and,
WHEREAS, The Future Land Use Map is now deemed to be in need of revision to promote the highest and best use of properties; and,
WHEREAS, The original Future Land Use Map was adopted by ordinance any may only be amended through adoption of a separate ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MISSION, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The acreage within the boundaries of Lots 6-10, 7-10, 7-10, 8-10, 9-10, 10-10, 11-10, 12-10, 6-11, 7-11, 8-11, 9-11, 10-11, 11-11, 12-11, 6-12, 7-12, 8-12, 9-12, West Addition to Sharyland Subdivision, and Lots 61, 71, and 81. John H. Shary Subdivision, shall hereafter be designated General Commercial (GC) as shown on the attached Attachment “A.”
2. All ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repeated.
3. Should any sentence, clause, phrase or section of this ordinance be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect.
