ORDINANCE NO. 3743

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS, AMENDING SUBSECTIONS (b), (c), AND (d) OF SECTION 90-56 OF ITS CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR NEW GARBAGE RATES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Subsections (b), (c) and (d) of Section 90-56 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Mission, Texas are amended to read as follows

(b) Rates for commercial container service, for debris permits to access city-provided roll-offs and for front-loader commercial container service are as follows:

(c) The above rates apply to services for one (1) contractor-provided container per customer. Each additional container requested would require the identical charge for the first container.

(d) The price for debris permits for roll-off service will be: $21.32 per cubic yard

SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this article is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.

SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect the 1^st day of March, 2012 or upon its publication according to law, whichever occurs last.
