NOTICE OF VACANCY
The Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council (LRGVDC) is advertising for the following position:
TECHNICIAN III
(AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER)
LOCATION: AAA-255 SOUTH KANSAS WESLACO,TX
SALARY: $24,000-$28,000
DUTIES: Duties include to assure that all resource database is updated on a consistent bases among partnering agencies and ADRC staff. Assist in the implementation and enhancement of all data analysis and reporting procedures for the ADRC call center. Coordinates data collection from all sources towards the development of required reporting regarding all activities of the ADRC to submit to all appropriate funding sources. Participates in regional community partnerships and other appropriate collaborative groups and efforts. Provides information regarding available services and benefits for older persons and/or family caregivers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in gerontology, psychology, sociology, social work, or a related field, plus at least (2) two years of relevant experience; or high school graduation, or its equivalent, plus at least (6) six years of experience in social service work especially in working with caregivers and and/or the elderly; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
