NOTICE OF VACANCY

The LRGVDC is advertising for the following position(s):

TECHNICIAN II – DRIVER(S)

Base Salary Range - $10.50 an hour

DUTIES: Performs routine motor vehicle operations.  Work involves operating motor vehicles in transporting passengers or cargo, prepare and maintain forms or records pertaining to vehicle operations.  Required to drive all routes as assigned in the Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy County area.

QUALIFICATIONS:  High school graduation, plus at least two (2)  years experience in operating motor vehicles on a delivery or commercial basis; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

REQUIREMENT:  Must possess a Valid Class A or B Commercial Texas Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.

This Position is classified as a safety sensitive position in accordance with FTA’s 49 CFR Part 655 and Part 40.
