CITY OF MISSION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM
PROPOSED ACTION PLAN 2011-2012 (DRAFT)
In compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program rules and regulations, the City of Mission hereby announces its proposed Action Plan 2011-2012 for its Twenty-Eighth Year Entitlement Program. On May 3, 2011 the Citizens Advisory Committee made funding recommendations for the Action Plan 2011-2012 utilizing the city’s estimated 2011 CDBG allocation of $765,469.
1) (05) Public Service Agencies - $8,500
a) (05A) Amigos Del Valle $5,000
b) (05N) Children’s Advocacy $3,500
2) (14A) Housing Assistance Program - $550,000
Rehabilitation $50,000
Rehabilitation $500,000
3) (14H) Housing Administration - $90,000
4) (21A) CD Program Administration - $116,969
City Council will be having a public hearing as follows:
Date: May 9, 2011
Place: Mission City Hall Council Chambers
Time: 4:30 p.m.
The Proposed Action Plan 2011-2012 is being provided for public comments. Oral and/or written comments will be accepted through June 6, 2011.
Accommodations for persons with disabilities, non-English speaking or handicapped individuals shall be provided upon request. Please notify the department at least three days in advance of meeting.
