NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT’S Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold a public meeting at 5:30 P.M., October 9, 2013 in the Central Administration at Nellie Schunior Staff Development Center 200 West Expressway 83, La Joya, Texas The purpose of this meeting is to discuss La Joya Independent School District’s rating on the state’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
The Planning and Zoning Department will hold a public hearing on October 16, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alton City Hall’s Chambers, 509 South Alton Blvd, Alton, Texas in order to consider a conditional use permit for a Junior’s Supermarket for the sale of Wine and Beer Retailer’s Off-Premise Permit (BQ) located at 215 W Main Ave. Anyone interested is invited to attend and voice their concerns. Written comments received before 12:00 noon Wednesday, October 16, 2013, will be considered and should be addressed to the above mentioned address.
