NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT’S Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) LA JOYA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold a public meeting at 5:30 P.M., October 9, 2013 in the Central Administration at Nellie Schunior Staff Development Center 200 West Expressway 83, La Joya, Texas The purpose of this meeting is to discuss La Joya Independent School District’s rating on the state’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).


PUBLIC NOTICE

The Planning and Zoning Department will hold a public hearing on October 16, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alton City Hall’s Chambers, 509 South Alton Blvd, Alton, Texas in order to consider a conditional use permit for a Junior’s Supermarket for the sale of Wine and Beer Retailer’s Off-Premise Permit (BQ) located at 215 W Main Ave. Anyone interested is invited to attend and voice their concerns. Written comments received before 12:00 noon Wednesday, October 16, 2013, will be considered and should be addressed to the above mentioned address. AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AD VALOREM TAXES FOR USE AND SUPPORT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF PENITAS, TEXAS FOR THE 2013-2014 FISCAL YEAR; PROVIDING FOR APPORTIONING EACH LEVY FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES; AND, PROVIDING WHEN TAXES SHALL BECOME DUE AND WHEN SAME SHALL BECOME DELINQUENT IF NOT PAID. READ, CONSIDERED, AND PASSED, on the 24th day of September, 2013 at a Special Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners at which a quorum was present.
