PUBLIC NOTICE

The CITY OF ALTON will be accepting SEALED BIDS for the purchase of SURPLUS EQUIPMENT PURCHASES, until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at which time they will be opened at the CITY HALL building located at 509 S. Alton Blvd by the Finance Director and/or designated staff. Any proposal received after the time for opening shall be returned unopened. Proposals submitted via faxes or electronic media will not be accepted.

A complete bid packet can be picked-up at: ALTON CITY HALL located at 509 SOUTH ALTON BLVD, ALTON, TEXAS 78573. Complete packet must be submitted and shall be addressed to: Rosie Tello, Finance Director 509 South Alton Blvd, Alton, Texas 78573, and clearly marked: “SEALED BID – SURPLUS EQUIPMENT” on the lower left-hand corner.

Sharyland Independent School District:
Public Hearing Notice

Sharyland Independent School District will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., February 18, 2014 at the Sharyland High School Auditorium Mission, Texas.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district’s Academic Performance Report for the 2012-13 school year. In accordance with Texas Education Code Chapter 39, each district’s board of trustees is required to publish an annual report that includes the TAPR, campus performance objectives, a report of violent or criminal incidents, and information received under Texas Education Code §51.403(e) from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

The board of trustees is required to hold a hearing for public discussion of the report.


PUBLIC NOTICE

The Mission City Council will hold a Regular Meeting on February 24, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 East 8th Street, Mission, Texas in order to consider the following:

Rezoning: Lots 1-12, Block 60, Mission Original Townsite Subdivision, from (R-1) Single Family Residential to (P) Public Zone; and Rezoning: 16.970 acres out of Lot 26-5, West Addition to Sharyland Subdivision, from (AO-I) Agricultural Open Interim to (P) Public Zone If a zoning is amended during the public hearing, it shall be pursuant to the City of Mission’s Amendatory Zone Policy Statement.
