ORDINANCE NO. 3649
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR A TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE BEING A FOUR-WAY STOP SIGN INTERSECTION AT BRYCE DRIVE AND PECAN AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR INSTALLATION OF SAID TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES BEING STOP SIGNS AND PROPER SIGNAGE THEREOF AND MAKING PROVISIONS OF THE STATE TRANSPORTATION CODE AND TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSION IN REGARD TO PENALTY FOR VIOLATION APPLI-CABLE THERETO:.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1: All vehicles traveling west on Bryce Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Bryce Drive and Pecan Avenue.
SECTION 2: All vehicles traveling east on Bryce Drive must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Bryce Drive and Pecan Avenue.
SECTION 3: All vehicles traveling south on Pecan Avenue must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Bryce Drive and Pecan Avenue.
SECTION 4: All vehicles traveling north on Pecan Avenue must come to a complete stop prior to entering the intersection of Bryce Drive and Pecan Avenue.
SECTION 5: The proper devices shall be installed in accordance with the standards adopted by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
SECTION 6: The provisions of the State Transportation Code and the Traffic ordinances of the City of Mission shall be applicable in regard to penalties for violation of said traffic control devices and signs.
SECTION 7: This ordinance shall become effective when said signage is installed and when it has been published as prescribed by law.
READ, CONSIDERED AND APPROVED, on this 25th day of May, 2011.
