EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Sharyland ISD offers career and technology education programs in building and electrical trades, business and office education, family and consumer science, agricultural science, health science, criminal justice and technology applications.

It is the policy of Sharyland Independent School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or handicap in its vocational programs, services, or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

It is the policy of Sharyland Independent School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap or age in its employment practices as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

Sharyland Independent School District will take steps to assure that lack of English Language skills not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and vocational programs.

La admisión a estos programas es basada en las aplicaciones recibidas, edad apropriada, año escolar, aptitud e interés, y la sequencia lógica de cursos.

Es la practica del Distrito Independiente de Sharyland de no discriminar en las bases de raza, color, origen nacional, genero, edad o impedimento fisico que puedan tener al participar en ciertos programas, servicios o actividades vocacionales como es requerido en la reforma del Titulo VI del Acto de Derechos Civiles de 1964, Titulo IX de las reformas Educacionales de 1972 y reforma de las Secciones 504 del Acto de Rehabilitación de 1973.
