Princesses ‘Dare to Dream’ with Disney on Ice

20120406_DIsney_on_iceHIDALGO – The always popular Disney on Ice presents “Dare to Dream” at State Farm Arena April 18 through 22.  Everyone’s favorite princesses will be found on the ice with the hope and triumph found in their timeless fairytale classics.

Rapunzel, Flynn and Maximus take their “Tangled” escapade to new heights.  From “The Princess and the Frog,” Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen’s musical journey to a Bayou beat begins with a fateful kiss.  The glass slipper fits once again as Cinderella finds her Prince Charming.  Just when the audience thinks the “Once upon a time” stories are over, they all come together for the “Happily ever after” grand finale.  No princess story is complete without the music, pageantry, color, and grandeur befitting their station, and Disney isn’t Disney without Mickey, Minnie and Goofy making a special appearance.

Evening show times are 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday.  There are additional performances at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, and Sunday matinees are 1:30 and 5 p.m.  Doors open one hour before show time.

Tickets are $15, $25, $35, and $45.  Tickets are available at select HEB stories, www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000, or the Arena box office in Hidalgo at 843-5522.  Groups of 12 or more receive a special discount rate by calling the Arena box office.  Ages two and older must have a ticket.
