Registration is underway for a new two-week session of “Summer Drama Camp for Kids” for ages 5 to 12 and “English Immersion through Theater” for adults. Dates are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, June 17 to 19 and June 24 to 25 with a performance and celebration on June 26. The public is invited to the final performance.
Both classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. for the youth class and 11:30 for adults. Registration and all classes and performances are held at the Pharr Community Theater’s new location at Carnahan School, 317 W. Gore in Pharr. Cost is $35 for each two-week session. No prior theater experience is required for either class.
Register at 317 W. Gore in Pharr on Saturday, June 15, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. or on the first day, June 17, between 9:15 and 11 a.m.
Two additional two-week sessions will be offered beginning July 1 and July 15. The content for each session is new so students are encouraged to attend as many camp/class sessions as possible.
