Visitors will have the chance to browse sidewalk vendors and venues along Main Street showing and selling everything from paintings and handcrafted jewelry to music. Entertainment will be held at some venues, on the sidewalks and McAllen’s Music After Hours will be held at Archer Park.
Venues participating in the event include Jac-Lin’s Florist and Gallery, the Art House, Los Cazadores Restaurant, and Roosevelt’s at 7. Also participating are J’Aime Les Livres (I Love Books), the Arts Village where The Tipsy Canvas, McAllen Stained Glass and other venues are located, the Arts Business District Center featuring work by Rebecca “Keka” Huri, and Nuevo Santander Gallery.
Douglas Clark Studio, McAllen Public Library, S. Klein Galleries, Bisque-It Shop, Renaissance Casa de Palmas Hotel, and the Artisan Market at Archer Park among others will also be open during the event.
After the art galleries close their doors, Jackie O’s at 2000 Nolana Ave. will feature art by local artists and entertainment from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
