MISSION — Trey Ware will deliver his message to the 2012 graduates at the Mission Baccalaureate, honoring graduates from Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School and Sharyland High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at the V.F. Neuhaus Health and P.E. Center on the Mission High School campus.
Ware is an institution in San Antonio media. A San Antonio native, he began his career 35 years ago at the age of 10 as America’s youngest DJ and is now the host of the popular "Trey Ware Morning Show" on 550 KTSA and KTSA.comThe Baccalaureate Service is sponsored by a Prayer Group that took over responsibility in 1975; the current committee members are Mary Compton, Pat Gossett, Lou Ann Caudle, Mary Kay Broughton, Terry Rush, Rebecca Crook, Heather Marks, Jeannette Womack, Christina Reyna, Myra de la Garza and Maritza Esqueda.
The committee is supported by the generous donations of local businesses, organizations and individuals in the community.
