KINGSVILLE — For the second summer in a row, faculty from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and educators across South Texas have studied the literature, culture and history of the Caribbean in an effort to hone strategies for teaching college and high school levels.
Exploring the Global Caribbean Conference, July 5-6 at the A&M-Kingsville campus, will mark the culmination of three years of study and discussion about the large assembly of people and cultures that comprise the Carribean.
Conference registration costs $75 and includes lunch, keynote dinner and admission to theatre production. The program is funded through the National Endowment for the Humanities.
