The event will be held at Witten Basball Park, 600 S. Ironwood Street in Pharr from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. this Saturday, July 7.
Participants are encouraged to bring umbrellas for sun protection and an ice chest for snacks or your catches of the day. Any fish you catch go home with you. If you have a fishing pole, please bring it; if not, one will be provided. For more information, call 389-4309.
