Come and learn about Intellectual Property Protection: How to Protect Your Business Idea, at a workshop hosted by the University of Texas-Pan American Small Business Center and the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Thursday July 26 in McAllen.
The free workshop is from 9 to 11 a.m. at the RGVHCC office located t 3313 N. McColl Road in McAllen. Attend the workshop and find out why it is important to your businesses and how you can protect yourself and your business.
“Many small businesses lack the resources and familiarity of protecting intellectual property. This is why it is essential for you to start considering registering your name or getting your idea patented. This seminar will give you the basic tools and why you need to do so,” said Janie Caballero, SBDC Senior Business Advisor.
