MISSION – Mission Regional Medical Center invites the residents of Mission and surrounding communities to an open house on Friday, Feb. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., to celebrate the grand opening of MissionHealth, the newest medical clinic in Mission. A short ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 12 p.m., followed by tours, drawings for door prizes, free first aid kits and refreshments. The clinic is located at 1922 East Griffin Parkway, Suite A.
The MissionHealth medical office is designed with warm, natural, earth-tone colors inviting visitors into a relaxing, calm space, providing an atmosphere unlike most medical clinics.
"Our goal is to create a state-of-the-art, healing atmosphere for patients and a positive working environment for staff," said Jeffery McCaffery, clinic director for Mission Doctors Group, dba MissionHealth.
"We are so proud to have MissionHealth as part of a more coordinated healthcare approach to our patients," said Javier Iruegas, CEO of Mission Regional Medical Center. "Our integrated health care delivery process will help us to continue our commitment to improve the health of the community we serve."
The clinic has approximately 2,500 square feet of space.
"This new office space allows us to have 3 exam rooms, a procedure room, a consult room, and a specimen and drawing station for labs," McCaffery said.
MissionHealth is a clinic affiliated with Mission Regional Medical Center, a non-profit hospital serving the community since 1954. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MissionHealth has another clinic location at 906 S. Bryan Road, Suite 205, Mission. More information about the clinic or other facilities may be found online at www.MissionHealthRGV.com.
