Honored for perfect attendance since kindergarten
People Poll
Gabriela Gonzalez, a 6th grader at Jessie L. Jensen Elementary, has never missed a day of school since she started kindergarten. She was determined as a Pre-K student that it was important for her to attend school every single day.
Her parents, Noe and Leticia Gonzalez, said they never pushed their daughter to take attendance so seriously. It was Gabriela’s commitment and determination to attend school every single day.
Gabriela was presented an award for perfect attendance, flowers and a gift from Margarita Gonzalez, principal of Jessie L. Jensen, at the sixth-grade awards ceremony.
“This is an outstanding example of the kind of hard working students we have at Jessie L. Jensen Elementary,” Gonzalez said. “Gabriela has a bright future ahead and is a true inspiration for all.”
