Pedro and Arnoldo Alvarado were denied bond July 10.
In the early morning hours of July 3, Harrison was conducting surveillance in anticipation of an expected drug transaction believed to be occurring near Hargill. While parked with his lights off, another vehicle approached his and fired shots at it. Harrison fled north while the other vehicle pursued and continued shooting at him. He lost control of his vehicle at which point other agents arrived on the scene, according to the criminal complaint. Harrison was shot in the back and is recovering.
According to the criminal complaint, Arnoldo Alvarado waived his Miranda Rights and told investigators that his father told him and his brother to go get a 9mm handgun and a .22-caliber rifle because a suspicious vehicle was near their residence.
Arnoldo Alvarado said he sat in front and the 16-year-old sat in back and drove west on Cemetery Road toward Harrison’s vehicle with their lights off. Arnoldo Alvarado said the 16-year-old juvenile fired approximately six times toward the silver vehicle. Arnoldo Alvarado said he fired the 9mm handgun twice in the air and then numerous rounds at Harrison’s vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.
During the investigation, authorities received consent to search Pedro Alvarado’s residence in Hargill where they found two undocumented aliens identified as Mario Edonilson Ascencio-Martir, 24, and Joel Eliezar Gutierrez-Mendez, 25, citizens of El Salvador, who were present at the resident before and after the incident.
