Thursday, April 21 has been designated as an early release day for Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) schools. Pre-k students will be released at 10:30 a.m. All other elementary grades will dismiss at 12 p.m. (noon). Junior high schools and high schools will dismiss students at 1 p.m. on this day. Afternoon pre-k students will not attend school on April 21. The early release time for pre-k is needed to allow for proper busing procedures for the elementary schools on the early release day.
The Central Administrative Office Building will also close at 1 p.m. on April 21.
No classes will be held on Friday, April 22. Students will return to school on Monday, April 25. State testing is scheduled to begin on April 25 for some grade levels, so student attendance on this day is very important.
