Road Construction Advisory
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has released the following advisory regarding highway construction and maintenance work in the Mission area.
Bates Road
TxDOT and Border Pacific Railroad will replank and upgrade the existing railroad crossing on Bates Road(Goodwin Rd)in the Palmview/Perezville area from Monday, April 11th to Wednesday, April 13th from 8 am to 7 pm each day. A temporary bypass around the construction area will be set up as a traffic detour.
US 83
TxDOT will be working on US 83 eastbound main lanes from Inspiration Road to Shary Road in Mission on Wednesday, April 13th from 9 am to 3 pm. Crews will be performing pavement work.
US 83 Mission
The US 83 entrance ramps at Bryan Road in Mission are closed until August 2011. The closure is necessary to accommodate the US 83/Bryan Road overpass reconstruction. The Bryan Road Bridge over US 83 is currently open to traffic.
