PALMVIEW – Gonzalo Covarrubia, 61, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born to Santos Covarrubia and Lydia Garza on May 5, 1950 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
MISSION - Gerardo Mario Cortez, 76, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at his residence in Mission.
PEÑITAS - Ofelia de Leon Chapa, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 at Comfort House in McAllen. Mrs. Chapa was born in Mercedes.
MISSION - Renato Chapa, 68, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at the Comfort House in McAllen.
Mission –Sylvia Anna Eckroat, 98, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen.
MISSION –Amelia Cantu Femat passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. Born on Oct. 3, 1913 to Tomas and Maria Del Refugio Cantu, she had lived most of her life in Mission.
