MISSION - Teresa Fernandez, 63, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at McAllen Heart Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albertino Fernandez, and her parents, Juan and Maria Luisa Castillo.

She is survived by a daughter, Tere Garcia of Edinburg; sons, Omar Fernandez of Pharr, Alberto Fernandez of Pharr and Marco A. Fernandez of Mission; 10 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
