He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Reyna; parents, Reyes and Julia Reyna; and by 16 siblings.

MISSION - Idolina G. Garcia, 87, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Pharr.

She is survived by her five children, Leonardo Garcia Jr., Rafaela Gonzalez, Daniel Garcia, Arturo Garcia, and Naomi Banduch, as well as 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonardo Garcia Sr.; sisters, Olivia Diaz and Lucia Gonzalez; and brothers, Feliciano, Manuel and Oresimo Gonzalez.

SULLIVAN CITY - Minerva M. Ruiz, 67, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 after a two-year battle against pancreatic cancer.  

Mrs. Ruiz was born January 31, 1945 in Rio Grande City to Abel Martinez and Maria Elvia Rodriguez. She was a registered nurse at M.D. Anderson in Houston, McAllen Medical Center, the La Joya ISD and Mission Hospital.
