DES MOINES, Iowa – Esteban Villarreal Sanchez, 51, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Esteban was born November 28, 1960 in Tamaulipas, Mexico. He grew up in Mission.

Esteban is survived by his brothers, Dionicio, Isabel, Porfirio and Joe Sanchez; sisters, Petra Medrano, Maria Antonia Sanchez, Maria Luisa Vallejo, Maria de Jesus Sanchez, Gracie Marquez and Monica Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

MISSION – Rosa Maria Guadalupe Chavez, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Briarcliff Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in McAllen. She was born on July 10, 1935 in Mission. 

She is survived by her cousin, Jose Roberto Cavazos (Dora) from Mission; second cousins, Cynthia Cavazos Gonzalez (Jorge) from Edinburg, and Dr. Norma Cavazos Salas (Hector) from Mission; and her cousin, Ruben Longoria from Mission. She is also survived by many cousins and second cousins from the Cavazos Family living in Mission.
