OBIT: Lois Joan Fuhrmeister

MISSION - Lois Fuhrmeister, 85, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at the Comfort House in McAllen. She was born to John Johnson and Mollie Zempel on April 17, 1926 in Craig, Iowa.

Survivors include her sons, John C. (Pat) Fuhrmeister and Richard (Barbara) Fuhrmeister; grandchildren, William (Lisa) Fuhrmeister, Timothy (Julia) Fuhrmeister, Jennifer (Stefan) White, Cormac Fuhrmeister White, Fletcher Fuhrmeister White, and Regan Fuhrmeister White; great-grandchildren, Benjamin William Fuhrmeister, Madeline Grace Fuhrmeister, Timothy Charles Fuhrmeister Jr. and Laura Fitz.

Cremation services were held at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission.
