OBIT: Olivia M. Magallan

GRANJENO - Olivia M. Magallan, 79, passed away Oct. 4, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Norma (Homer) Gonzalez of McAllen, Ricardo (Norma) Magallan of Danevang, Jose H. (Idolina) Magallan Jr. of Granjeno, Noemi Magallan of Granjeno, Isabel (Roy) Ochoa of Mission and Roel Magallan of Granjeno; sister, Dora Yanez of Galveston; and 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose H. Magallan; son, Rigoberto Magallan; and grandchildren, Veronica Garza and Jose Humberto Magallan III.

The funeral mass will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Granjeno. Interment will follow at the Granjeno City Cemetery.
