MISSION - Ramiro "Ram" Zapata Jr., 29, left to be with Our Lord on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at his residence in Mission. He was born to Ramiro and Maria Elia Zapata Sr. on Nov. 20, 1981 in Mission.
He was full of life and always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved and cherished every moment with his son, and brighten everyone's day never leaving a member of his family out of his cheery life.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Ramiro Zapata III; parents, Ramiro and Maria Elia Zapata Sr.; sister, Cynthia Zapata; his nieces and nephew, Danniana Zapata, Diana Martinez and Ramon Martinez Jr., as well as by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 from 1 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
