OBIT: Manuel Garcia

PALMVIEW - Manuel Garcia, 63, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at his residence in Palmview. He was born to Bernardo Garcia and Julia Peralez on June 15, 1948 in Pharr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Rosalia Garcia; children, Baldomero (Juanita) Garcia, Manuel (Marisol) Garcia, San Juanita (Mario) Salinas, Ismael Garcia, Juan Jose (Rosa Maria) Garcia, Gumaro (Erica) Garcia, Miguel Angel (Brenda) Garcia, Arturo (Brenda) Garcia, Rosalia (Leonel) Leal, and Alfredo (Stephanie) Garcia; siblings, Bernardo Garcia, Julio Peralez, Ismael Garcia, and Manuel Garcia; and 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Lord & I Memorial Chapel in Penitas. Interment will follow at Lord & I Cemetery in Palmview.
