MISSION – Juan Alberto “Beto” Ramirez, 50, passed away Nov. 13, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center.
He was a long time employee of Texas Industrial Battery where he was a battery technician.
Mr. Ramirez was an active Brother Knight of Columbus, ACTS Brother where he was the choir guitarist, a parishioner who served as a Eucharistic minister and a Spanish lector at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission.
He was a great life coach, an amazing father and loving husband, led his family well in faith, patience, love and he instilled the value of family and strength in everyone fortunate enough to have met him.
He is survived by his wife, of 25 years, Alicia Ramirez of Mission; children, Darleen, Ryan and Juan Alberto Jr.; father, Celso Ramirez; as well as by a large extended family including four brothers and six sisters.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Guadalupe Ramirez.
Visitation will be held today Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.
