OBIT: Aracelia Fuentes

MISSION - Aracelia Fuentes, 87, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Mission Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her sons, Jose Angel Sanchez, Jesus Veliz and Vidal Rodriguez, Jr. (Tomasa); daughters, Nancy Jimenez (Lupe), Jackie Sanchez (Gaspar), Cande Gonzalez (Leandro), Rosa Nellie Villarreal (Ernesto) and Alma Linda Bradley (James); 35 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren; and long-time companion Ruben Cardenas.

She was preceded in death by a son, Juan Jose Sanchez.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ernie Villarreal, Leo Gonzalez, Junior Jimenez, Gaspar Sanchez III, Juan Jose Sanchez Jr., Vidal Rodriguez III and Steve Villarreal.
