McCOOK - Melvin Edward Sekula, 64, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at his residence in McCook.
He lived in McCook his whole life where he was a farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Sekula of McCook; sons, Keith Sekula of McCook, Josh Sekula of Edinburg; siblings, Gladys Miller, Rose Carter, Geraldine Englerth, Carolyn Englerth, Dorothy Sekula, Thomas Sekula, Louise Sekula, Frank Sekula, Dan Sekula, and Joe Sekula.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Julia Sekula.
A funeral Mass will be held on Dec. 24 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in McCook. Burial followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in McCook.
