ALTON - Homar "Homer" Peralez, 60, passed away on Dec. 15, 2011, at his residence in Alton after a battle with cancer. He was a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Elodia Peralez, and a sister, Sandra Gomez.
Survivors include his wife, Minerva Peralez of Alton; children, Denise Davila of Alton, Saul Homar Peralez of McAllen, Cassandra Sorensen of Edinburg, and Erica Paige of McAllen; sisters, Imelda Casas, Monica Ozuna, Eliza Trevino, Belinda Pineda, and Norma Reyes; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Dec. 21 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens.
