Don José de la Garza Gonzalez, 80, passed away in Mission on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011. He was born Dec. 8, 1931.
He is survived by his children, Elvira Adriana, Lily Maria, Rosalva, Maria Teresa, Elsa Ileana, Jose Rolando, Omar and Jehu David, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Dec. 26 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel with burial on Dec. 27 at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
