MISSION – Israel “Coco” Sanchez, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Survivors include his parents, Israel and Maria Sanchez Sr. of Mission; a sister, Jessica Yvette Sanchez of Mission; grandfather, Isaac Sanchez of Mission.
Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Esperanza Sanchez.
A funeral mass was held on Jan. 10 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen. Services were under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission
