MISSION - Renato Chapa, 68, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at the Comfort House in McAllen.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1943 in Mission.
He is survived by his siblings, Ricardo R. Chapa of McAllen, Reynaldo Chapa of McAllen, Rosa M. Chapa of Oxnard, California, Blanca Chapa of Mission, Ruby Chapa Ornik of La Joya, and Rosalinda Torline of McAllen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria and Margarita M. Chapa.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 30, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Comfort House, 617 Dallas Avenue, McAllen, TX 78501.
