MISSION - Gerardo Mario Cortez, 76, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at his residence in Mission.
He is survived by his wife, Reyna Cortez; daughter, Michelle Cortez-Luengo; sisters, Concepcion, Margarita, Mina, and Blanca; and two grandchildren.
The funeral Mass was held Jan. 5 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment followed at Garden of Angels Cemetery.
