MISSION - Reyna Cortez, 71, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Cortez-Luengo; grandchildren, Markus and Matthias; and sisters, Imelda, Julia, Maria, and Christina.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery.
